LUCENA CITY, Quezon, Jan. 22 (PIA) -- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Quezon led the launching of the pangasius on January 14 at the Lucena City Public Market and at the SM Lucena.
Marcelina Alcantara, provincial director of DTI - Quezon, said that the pangasius is launched at the Lucena Public Market so that people would know the fish is now available in public markets.
Due to its good potentials, the DTI promotes pangasius raising as profitable business for entrepreneurs and a source of livelihood for farmers...

I heard that the fish produce alot of ammonia in their excrement over time- do the plants clean this up? I just saw a video about it on Youtube, and I thought it looked really neat. So.........opinions?

I’m sitting in the Milwaukee airport listening to the sounds of the Packers / Bears football game behind me, punctuated by the occasional whoops and cheers from the airport crowd.  I’m heading home from the Aquaponics conference at Sweet Water Organics where I’ve been soaking up all manner of aquaponics over the past three days.
